Cheezy Kale Chips

I LOVE KALE!!! I also love ‘cheeze’. Anything is possible with nutritional yeast. Two of my favourite ingredients in 1 easy peasy dish. Makes for a great nutritional snack. Be careful not to go overload with the olive oil as it will result in your ‘Chips’ being quite soggy (trust me).

Ingredients:Cheezy Kale Chips

1 Bunch of Kale

1/4 Cup of nutritional yeast

Sprinkle of sea salt

1 Tablespoon of olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 220deg. Line a big baking tray with baking paper and spray with coconut oil.

Simple – Cut the kale up into bite size pieces ensuring you have removed the stems of each kale leaf. Rinse and pat dry with a paper towel. Add to bowl and stir through olive oil. As long as your hands are clean, you can just do this with your hands! Now sprinkle the sea salt and nutritional yeast.

Spread kale evenly over baking tray and bake for 15min. Check regularly. When Kale starts to brown up you should only really the chips in the oven for another 5 more min. Depending on how crunchy you like them :)

Remove from oven and allow to cool, serve straight away or keep in container for a couple of days worth of snacks.
